Taming the Tycoon by Amy Andrews
Real estate tycoon Nathaniel Montgomery is one deal away from making his first billion and fulfilling a promise to his dying father. Nothing will stop him from tearing down the decrepit St. Agnes hospital and erecting posh condos in its place. Not even the crystal-wearing, health food store owner whose publicity stunt lands him in the hospital.
After her brush with death five years ago, child prodigy Addie Collins learned what’s truly important—health, happiness, and the two-hundred-year-old rose garden at St. Agnes. To make amends for the accident, she agrees to pose as Nathaniel’s girlfriend at his eccentric grandmother’s birthday party.
But Addie has an ulterior motive. To repay her debt to the universe, she must show him there's more to life than making money. Nathaniel hates to lose, but as she breaks through his defenses, losing himself in Addie's arms might be exactly what this tycoon needs...

In a nut shell:
Good Story | Nate is Yummy | End is Perfect
This book is pretty cut and dry for me =) I like it. Nate is just delicious… seriously yummy man candy – “mandy” as I like to say in real life – Addie was just weird. Sorry folks, but I never really felt her that much, but she is great for the story. The person I identify with in this story is Nate… he is a hard worker, a sexy as hell man, in charge, knows what he wants, knows what needs to be done. I love that he is so not expecting what Addie brings to his life… and I love how their relationship grows and develops. It isn’t insta-love like I see so often – which most of the time I really don’t mind – it just makes the story less plausible, you know.
So really I don’t have anything bad to say – o_O – I never really do… but this book I just read through in about a day or so and liked it. The pace of the story is good – not to fast and not too slow, which I HATE and you all know it!
What I absolutely LOVE about this book is the humor that shows up all through the pages. Addie is funny and Nate is just snarky and a little dirty with his double entandras – LOVE IT!
Here is one of my favorite quotes from Addie – this is her talking to herself in her head… you know, innermologue style:
"Must not do evil tycoon in garden."
And well Nate… this pretty much is what I think of when I think of him – LOL!
And that my little kittens is what I think – I’ll see you next time, bye!
