BB Book Tours

Sooooooooooooo let me first just say - I loved this book!  It was great - fresh and exciting!

Today is my stop of the tour and I'm so sorry my post is so late!  **hiding**  I had a ton to do this morning and have not been feeling well this past week, but that's another story...  so on to the book - today I have so much stuff for you - a little short review (i'll post a full review later), an excerpt, & a giveaway!

So first off - here's the cover (which is BEAUTIFUL) and the blurb:

A girl with an unknown destiny.

A boy from a hidden world.

When Celeste starts at a new school in a small, Kansas town, she hears whispering voices, has vivid nightmares, and swarms of blackbirds follow her every move. She is oddly drawn to aloof Rylan, the other new student who has his own secrets.

The exact moment she turns seventeen, she wakes to a bedroom full of strange creatures, purple light emanating from her hands, and Rylan breaking in through her bedroom window.

He knows what she is . . .

Now I have an excerpt from you!!!!!!! It's awesome - check it out!!!

“Rylan?” she whispered into the dark. No answer. She sat down at her desk chair to wait for his return.
“Don’t sit. We need to go.” He was back, holding the window open for her. Her bedroom door was closed.
“Quit showing off,” she said. He went out the window first then helped her down. “Where did you go, anyways?” she asked.
“Just made sure your parents were in a deep sleep, that’s all.” He took her hand then led her through the forest again. It was much easier to navigate with shoes and socks. She followed him, expecting him to lead her to his parked car. But instead, he stopped.
Keeping her left hand firmly grasped in his right, he pulled her close, then rotated her body until they were face to face. He took her other hand with his free hand. Their faces were only inches apart, and she was painfully aware of how close his body was to hers. She looked up into his face.
He said nothing, but watched her with golden-flecked eyes. In the dark, they had some subtle luminescence.
He said nothing, and she stayed still.
Finally, he spoke, in the lowest voice she’d heard him use. “Please be careful. We can’t trust her.”
“Okay,” she said.
“I want to try something.” He dropped her hands, but replaced them with something better. He wrapped his arms around her waist then pulled her against him. Their bodies pressed together, spreading warmth to new places in the cold night.
Her breath caught in her throat.
He leaned closer. “Do you trust me?”
“Yes.”
“Close your eyes.” His breath moved the baby hairs framing her face.
She did, expecting his lips to press on hers in the dark. Instead, her body was ripped violently into motion, like taking the first drop-off on a roller coaster.

please go get this book and read it!

It is the BEST one so far!!  I love it! Now this will be releasing on December 10, 2012 - mark your calendars - you know I have it in brightly colored marker all over mine =)

Book Description:

After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.

Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father.  Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.
One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.

Come stalk MR Merrick with me - he is awesome - you'll love him!!

Whisper Falls
by Elizabeth Langston

While training for a mountain bike race, high-school senior Mark Lewis spots a mysterious girl dressed in odd clothing, standing behind a waterfall in the woods near his North Carolina home. When she comments on the strange machine that he rides, he suspects something isn't right. When Susanna claims to be an indentured servant from 1796, he wonders if she's crazy. Yet he feels compelled to find out more.

Mark enters a 'long-distance' relationship with Susanna through the shimmering--and temperamental--barrier of Whisper Falls. Curious about her world, Mark combs through history to learn about the brutal life she's trapped in. But knowledge can be dangerous. Soon he must choose between the risk of changing history or dooming the girl he can't stop thinking about to a lifetime of misery.
