From New York Times bestselling author, Corinne Michaels, comes a new heartwarming standalone romance.

I’m getting really good at cutting my losses.

First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can’t catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I’m determined to succeed.

That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time . . . practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.

I’m ready to forget the awkward night, yet Noah has no intention of allowing me to move on. Instead, he arranges for me to write a feature on him, ensuring a lot more time together. One embarrassing moment after another, one kiss after another, and before I can stop myself, I realize—I’m …

2018 Plans

What are your plans for 2018?
I've decided to figure out what I want to do... what I'm passionate about....  You know what I mean?
I like to do so many things, but I'm not really passionate about much outside of my family.  So this year, I'm going to try new things and take a look at what I LOVE to do... what I want to focus on and how I want to move forward.
I have struggles like everyone, and I"m sure some of you know my struggles to be just like your own.
I'm overweight, stressed, and pretty unorganized... truth be told.  I'm not unhappy with myself, but I don't love everything either.  These things don't really have anything to do with what people are passionate about, but I think it all feeds into the same overall goal... you have to be healthy and in a healthy frame of mind to be successful in your life.
You have to decide you want to do something - no matter what it might be - for the right reasons, and I think I'm going to tell you a…

We Built A New Bed!

Image
My husband and I are kind of crafty; we built this bed!

He builds things for me when I ask him to, and he built me a bed!  I finished it, as in I stained and sealed it, but we did the whole thing from just the lumber!  It turned out so great!
We used the plans for the King Bed from Shanty 2 Chic.  If you don't know about this site - you MUST check them out... these two ladies are so awesome!  Click here to go directly to their site for these plans!

I'm so proud of this project - I just love it!

Here's a few photos of our progress on this build...

Here's what it looks like all finished and put together!!

Isn't it so pretty!!
